Great food. They have vegan options on the menu, as well as vegan specials. The vegan specials are well worth it, very tasty. We love the staff, they have a great sense of humour and are welcoming.

Superb array of Curry's and chef specials, definitely the best curry I've had in the last 2 years. We were celebrating a birthday and we were made to feel very welcome and the evening was very enjoyable and relaxed. Will be back to try more authentic Indian dishes sooner rather than later!

We've spent much time in India inhotels and with my indian friends family...and eaten in Indian restaurants all over Britain...and this is definitely upgjete with the best. Exceptional food. Beautiful decor and amazing staff.

Booked a day before for my sons 13th birthday
Was pleasantly surprised the staff had got him a 13 birthday balloon and card. Thank you!!
The food was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. Will be back. Restaurant was packed out when we left as we had an early sitting. for a Tuesday night that must be good.!

Just had an Indian. I can say it was very very nice. The lamb and chicken was very tender. It’s quite rare to get a nice lamb dish, but I can say this was very good. I can say probably one of the best in maldon if not the best.

The reason for my 4 Start review,

The portions are quite small bearing in mind the food is quite expensive, £50 for two people I would hope I would have a lot but sadly this is not the case; in particular the chicken tikka masala only had 5 chunks of chicken.

I would say if you could make the sizes bigger this would be amazing!

What a nice little gem this place is. The restaurant was busy but staff were always on hand for any request
The food was really delicious. Both dosas and accompanying sauces and lentils were wonderful.
I was expecting to pay much more considering how stuffed we were. I would happily eat here again.

Best Indian restaurant we have been too. My husband loves Indian food. But I'm was not to keen. Well after visiting Maldon spice I'm converted. Can praise it enough, brilliant food. Great service, great atmosphere

WOW - This restaurants service, staff and menu is excellent.!! We have been here a few times. Now under new management since March 2021. The tacky ‘Elvis’ decor has long since gone and has been replaced by a lovely soft sage green. The new manager is very welcoming, helpful and comical and his staff are also very pleasant too. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this gem of an Indian restaurant (with its takeaway service too) to any lover of good quality spicy food.

Food is lovely and the service is great. The staff go out of their way to help. In response to one of the recent reviews - we are regular customers and we have never seen any behaviour that could be construed as bullying. We'll be back again very soon.
